The minimalist in me loves this book. With a super flexible lay-flat spine it’s the perfect size to slip in a bag or carry around.
Covered completely in bookcloth and sewn with Irish linen thread, they are available in a green that whispers of trips to the library or a cozy coffe brown.
These Long Stitch books are 6” × 9”, filled with 96 pages of 80 lb bright white Mohawk Superfine paper gathered into two signatures.
Each book is signed, numbered and stamped on the back inside cover and is part of a limited edition run.
All books are made by hand with nothing more mechanical than a paper cutter. Each book is hand cut, glued, folded, scored, pierced and sewn at my studio outside of Birmingham, Alabama. While I make them in batches of ten, they are all unique and have their own character. While I strive for consistency in quality, doing everything manually naturally lends itself to unique features in each book.
